I work with film in different ways - some are experimental animations, others documentary style film essays. Literature, folktales, and poetry that speak to metropolises as places of constant flux and embedded history inform my work. The origins of early cinema, experimental filmmakers of the 70s, and surrealist animators have great influence on me. I am one fourth of Digital Ancestors, an independent publishing company based in Brooklyn, NY. I teach printmaking at Yale School of Art.
